Fourth Year Summer Internship:
May - July 06 at General Electric Company(JFWTC),Aircraft Engines Section Bangalore India.

Project done:
I worked on Aircraft Engines’ Active Clearance Control (ACC) of HPT section. The work involved thermal modeling of various engine parts and finally implementation of a control algorithm to actively control the clreance and hence to increase efficiency.

Achievement: A.C.C. algorithm successfully implemented

Second Year Summer Internship:
May to July 2004 at the Division for Robotics & Remote Handling (DRHR), Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Bombay under the guidance of Shri J.K.Mukherjee, Scientific Officer 'H', Head, Advanced Robotics Section. The Advanced Robotics Section is presently with the Controls Division of BARC, and Shri J.K.Mukherjee, is serving as the Head of the
Controls Division.

Project Done:
Non Linear Spline Based Image Transformations to project mobile camera images onto a user defined plane, the plane of the image being specified. The application was used to generate orthogonal views from images taken with oblique camera angles. By transforming the image into an orthogonal plan, extracting the necessary information from the image becomes much easier.  

Third Year Summer Internship:
May - July 05 at General Electric Company(JFWTC),Aircraft Engines Section Bangalore India.

Project done:
I worked on Aircraft Engines’ Advance Sealing Technologies for improving efficiency of an aircraft engine in which I studied Brush Seal (Jet Engines’ High efficiency Seals) Design, CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) and Structural Modeling of Brush seal. Along with that I also studied flow Induced Acoustic wave in flow past a cavity .

Achievement: Awarded Best outgoing Intern
